在證照考試中我們並不會被問到關於 AWS History 的相關考題，但了解 AWS 的歷史有助於我們學習

在以往的 IT 機房中，我們做設定與架構的改變都需要大量的時間、技術與設備成本，但在雲端中，我們可以大幅減低這些成本支出

• 2003 - Chris Pinkhan & Benjamin Black present a paper on what Amazon's own internal infrastructure should look like, suggest selling it as a service and prepared a business case
• 2004 - SQS officially launched
• 2006 - AWS Officially launched
• 2007 - Over 180,000 developers on the platform
• 2010 - All of amazon.com moved over
• 2012 - First re:Invent Conference
• 2013 - Certification Launched
• 2014 - Committed to achieve 100% renewable energy usage for its global footprint
• 2015 - AWS breaks out its revenue: $6 Billion USD per annum and growing close to 90% year on year
• 2016 - Run rate of $13 billion USD
• 2017 - AWS re:Invent releases a host of Artificial Intelligent Services as well as Virtual Reality services

這邊我比較注意到的是 SQS 是亞馬遜第一個服務，甚至是在 SQS 出現後兩年 AWS 才正式成立

而 AWS 的證照考試是在 2013 年上線的

從數據中可以看出來雲端服務的快速成長
